FOMO Hides Trader Wallets. Here Is How to Get the Real One

On FOMO, every trader has a wallet address on their profile. Copy it, look it up on Solscan or a block explorer, and expect to see their positions and trade history. You will be disappointed. The wallet comes back nearly empty, with a handful of transactions and none of the activity you saw inside the app.

That is not a bug. The address FOMO shows is not the trader real wallet.

What FOMO actually shows

Each FOMO account has a signer wallet. It is a throwaway wallet the app creates for the account. It is not where the trader holds their tokens, and it is not where their trades happen. For an active trader it might have three or four transactions total, usually just token-account setup.

The real wallet, the one with the holdings, the PnL, and the thousands of transactions, is a separate address that FOMO does not put on the profile. So the wallet you can see tells you nothing, and the wallet that tells you everything stays hidden.

Why this matters

If you are doing anything serious with trader data, the signer wallet is worthless.

Copy trading needs the wallet that actually places the trades, so you can mirror them on-chain. The signer never trades. Verification needs the wallet that actually holds the tokens, so you can confirm real PnL. The signer holds nothing. Following smart money needs the wallet where the buys and sells flow. None of it flows through the signer.

Resolving a handle to a wallet is only useful if it is the wallet that matters. The signer is a dead end.
